Leave timecards for non-scheduled employees are created through Timecard Generation. Employees who are included in the process through a configuration setting (Master Profile > Employment tab Timecard Generation box value set to Salaried or Wage) will have timecards created for any approved leaves. An exception will be generated for employees with no shift records (non-scheduled) and no Timecard Generation flag (as per above during processing), if an approved leave exists for the employee. The message recommends that further investigation is required to determine why timecards have not been created.
Canceled Leave Requests – If timecards have been generated for a non-scheduled employee’s approved leave request, the leave request cannot be canceled. A message appears in the Leave Management module when attempting to cancel the leave. Action can be taken by the leave manager/scheduler/payroll clerk.
